NEXT STEPS GUIDE

I can’t thank you enough for trusting me to capture your child/children. It was such an honor, and I hope your family will treasure the result for generations to come.

STEP 1: Downloading your files

I recommend downloading from a computer if possible. When you enter your gallery there will be a menu, on the far right, click on the icon with the arrow pointing down.
I recommend downloading both “All photos - Web Size” and “All photos -High-Res” and renaming each folder HIGHRES and LOWRES and moving them into a new folder with the name of your choosing (for example: *Name* Portrait Session 2025).

Use High Resolution images for prints and Low Resolution for sharing online or
putting on your phone . Your gallery will be available for around 2 months so make sure your files are downloaded before then. You will receive an email to notify you before the gallery expires.

I suggest storing your files on a USB (2GB should be enough) or an external hard-drive, that way  you wont have to worry about losing your images in case of damaged or broken computer/phone. If you have cloud/online storage this is also a great option. Both options should keep your photos safe but if for any reason you lose your files you can reach out to me and I will find them and re-upload
them (please know there is a $20 re-uploading fee).

STEP 2: Leave A REVIEW

Leaving a review on Google helps other families find me online when they look for a photographer in their area and is therefore extremely helpful to my small business. This is also valuable information to a potential client who wants to know if I'm the right fit for them and reassure them that investing in a session with me will be worth it. It also means a great deal to
me personally.

Google review

What to say in your review:
Here are a few questions to help you get inspired for your testimonial:
- Did my services meet your expectations? How did the photos make you feel?
- How was the overall experience with me, from when you first in inquired to the gallery delivery?
- Did you feel comfortable during the session? How about the rest of the family?
- Would you recommend me to someone else?

step 3: print your images

These photos that tell your family's story were never meant to be buried on social media or lost in a folder on your phone. They are meant to live in your home, woven into your legacy.

An investment in professional photography is something to be experienced for years to come, displayed in a beautiful frame on your wall or mantle, bound in an album you can flip through when nostalgia strikes, or preserved in a collection of prints you'll one day pass down to your children. This is what it's really about, and my work wouldn't be complete without guiding you through this process.

printing through me
vs printing on your own

Each of my clients gets printing rights when booking a session with me. This means you are free to print your images any way you want and at any place you like without going through me (via the online shop in your gallery). Here is a summary to help you decide:

Printing through me:
This route gives the highest quality results with the least amount of work on your end. Files are prepared properly for printing to have the most accuracy with what you see on a screen and everything is produced through professional American based labs that aren’t accessible to the general public.

Printing on your own:
This gives you flexibility and usually a lower upfront cost. You can choose where to print and will probably receive your products more quickly. However, color accuracy and product quality can vary widely depending on the print shop. If issues come up, you’ll need to handle it yourself with the vendor. If you’re planning albums or specialty items, you’ll also need to do the design and layout on your own.

Online shop

You can find all products available through me directly in the shop section of your gallery.

You can expect prints, frames, albums etc.
If you have any questions or want my recommendations please don't hesitate to ask!
