CAPTURING your family WITH AUTHENTICITY & HEART
Beyond pretty images, for me this work is about being at the service of your family’s legacy. My mission is to gift you the archives of those fleeting and precious seasons & milestones of life. All of this, with authenticity and keeping things natural. No forced smiles or stiff poses can mirror the genuine essence of your family.

Once your session is on my schedule I will send you a questionnaire, this will help me know your family better and tailor this experience to you.
From your answers, I will create a moodboard to give us a creative direction to go from. If you're happy with it I will proceed with planning the styling for the session, selecting both outfits online and from the client closet.
I will share with you two looks with custom styling options for the whole family. You will have the option to:
- Purchase the outfits yourself and either keep them or return after the session
- Get Concierge Service: I order and return everything myself, saving you time and energy (This service is charged $100 to cover potential return/delivery fees and time involved)
- Or use it for inspiration only and draw outfits from your own clothes/the already available clothes from the client wardrobe.

During our session you can expect from me someone who will not rush or look at the clock,
someone that wont keep her face behind her camera the whole time or shoot non-stop. I have an outgoing personality and all my clients say how comfortable they feel during our time together, hopefully you will feel the same!
Our time together will be a safe space, you will be respected, free to be yourself and never judged. I might suggest some ideas but will never force you to do anything you don't feel comfortable doing or that is too far from "you".
My directions tend to be minimal (I might give a bit more during maternity sessions compare to a family session), I will sometimes ask you to move to be more within the light or encourage some position or facilitate a moment but I wont micromanage you, I like to let the session flow freely & naturally. Of course if you need more guidance from me I will be there for you.

Following our session, I will text you some preview images (3 to 5) and will let you know when you can expect your full gallery to be done.
I always edit in order. If you wish to know how many sessions are ahead of yours while you wait don’t hesitate to message me!
If for any reason out of my control there is some delay on the delivery of you session, I will be sure to keep you in the loop.
When you receive your photos you will also get a guide on what to do with your images and get a link to leave me a review on google (if you have the time I will be so very grateful as this is instrumental in getting my small business discovered by other families).
Finally, I will mail you the polaroids shot during the session directly to your home as well as my next steps guide including printing recommendations.

Studio sessions are especially great if you’re drawn to a clean, minimalist look where the focus stays fully on your family, your connection, and all the little details you want to remember.
Studio sessions are soft, simple, and intentional. The space is calm, neutral, and designed to photograph beautifully, so you don’t have to think about the background or the lighting. You can just show up, settle in, and be with your people.
My house is also sitting on 8 acres of land (3 of open space, 5 of forest). If you wish to use part of your session’s time for outdoor shots we can definetly do that!

Nothing like having tangible prints of your gallery to put in albums, fit inside frames on rotation, stick to your fridge, or just to have as a material keepsake of this special season of your life.
Photos will come in a beautiful linen storage box in 4x6 size with option of full print or white edge.

Wooden USB drive
No need to worry about downloading all your photos and keeping them safe somewhere, or having them take up extra space on your computer. I'll put both print resolution and web resolution of your entire gallery on a USB/USBC with a pocket to easily store it.

THE CLIENT wardrobe

The client wardrobe is fully accessible to all my clients. For sessions outside of my home studio please make a selection of items from the catalogue (up to 6 for mom & 4 for each kid) as I won't be traveling with the entire wardrobe. Of course you are free to bring your own clothes as well!

Clothes are either steamed or washed between clients

DO NOT worry about getting the clothes dirty, they are meant to be adventured in!

It includes women clothing ranging from XS to 2XL and kids clothes from new born to around 9 years old (for now). New items are added regularly. You will have access to the complete catalogue when your session is booked.
Your comfort is my number 1 priority so if you are cold I usually have one or two cardigans that you can wear. For your babies feel free to bring jackets/sweaters, I will myself bring blankets to wrap them in if necessary.

Oh my goodness we are absolutely obsessed with our gallery! I've already sent it across the country and the world to our family members and every single person has said exactly what we thought too: they are so fitting to our family! We absolutely loved working with Alison! She is incredibly creative and so patient with children, which made such a difference for our family. The session never felt rushed—instead, she took her time with every part, making sure everything was just right.
You can really tell how dedicated she is. She came fully prepared and it was obvious that she had put a lot of thought and planning into the day. Even though the session lasted about an hour and a half, it honestly flew by. The kids didn’t complain at all—they actually had so much fun!
