Lexington SC Maternity, New born & family photographer

Capturing artistic, heartfelt & timeless memories of your family's story

I offer a full-service, stress free and relaxed photography experience for mothers and their families across South Carolina, both in the comfort of my home-studio in Leesville (25 min from Lexington) and on-location, at my client's home or a scenic spot near them.

As a mother myself I understand the bittersweet ache of time passing too quickly and the priceless value of the small and simple moments spend with your family. Just like you, I wish I could bottle it all up and experience it all over again when it's gone. My *sacred* job is to preserve it the best way I know how, to document your legacy with authenticity and heart, to turn now into artful keepsakes you and your love ones can hold onto forever

In 2022, I left my homeland, France, with my American husband and we began a new chapter in beautiful South Carolina. Together, we turned an empty house into a home, filled it with love, fur babies, and the dream of someday welcoming children of our own.

Just a year later we found out life was growing in my womb, and in July 2024, I gave birth to our daughter Lyra.

She made my dream of becoming a mother a reality and transformed me into a stronger, wiser, and more inspired version of myself. I have never felt a deeper sense of purpose, never felt as alive, as I have since birthing her into the world and leaving the maiden behind.

The process

faq

I know many photographers rush clients to schedule sessions within the first two weeks of life, but I’m not one of them. I understand how sacred and challenging those first days and weeks of postpartum can be, and I honor that. Sessions can be scheduled up to six weeks after birth. After about three weeks, newborns tend to be more alert and awake, which may lead to a different result than the classic sleepy newborn photos—but still beautiful in their own way. I’m here to talk with you about what feels right and comfortable for you and your family.

They usually take place in my home studio in Leesville, SC (about 25–35 minutes from Lexington), or in your own home. Sessions can also happen outdoors if that feels more natural or fun for you. If you’re unsure which location is best, we can talk it through during the booking process. And if, once your baby arrives, you feel drawn to a different option, we can absolutely switch.

Sessions last as long as needed. Both you and I can usually feel when it’s the right time, which tends to be around 1.5 to 2 hours. If this sounds long and hard to manage, be reassured that it wont feel like that during our time together. My intention is to leave time for the session to flow gently and naturally without rush. This gives us space to get acquainted, change into outfits, take a breath, soothe your baby if they’re having a moment, or change a diaper if needed. A session with me is less about “posing” your baby and more about simply spending time together.

Absolutely. During a newborn session, I capture a variety of combinations: baby alone, baby with both parents, baby with mom, baby with dad, baby with the whole family, and baby with siblings. This allows your final gallery to tell a full, diverse story.
Please note that studio sessions can accommodate families of up to five people. For families of six or more, in-home or outdoor sessions are the best options.

I recommend booking your newborn session two to three months before your due date. If that timing didn’t work for you, or if your baby has already arrived and you’re only now feeling the pull to document this time, please reach out. I try to keep my schedule flexible for situations like this and may be able to fit you in.

I understand how stressful it can feel not knowing whether a session will go “smoothly.” That’s exactly why I allow the time needed to honor this season of life. I know that’s easier said than done, but please do not worry about this! I’ve been there myself. I had a fussy baby (hello, silent reflux) who took FOREVER to fall asleep. So trust me when I say I can handle anything, and your photos will turn out beautifully no matter what.
