With three kids, family photos can be stressful, but she made it easy and even fun.
What I loved most was how she guided us through everything. No awkward "okay now what?" moments. She saw the shots before they happened and told us exactly what to do. Our favorite photo is one where we're all just sitting together laughing. She captured us exactly as we are.
We got our edited photos back quickly and they're beautiful.
If you need a photographer who gets families and makes it enjoyable instead of stressful, I can't recommend Rebirth of a Woman enough.

Oh my goodness we are absolutely obsessed with our gallery! I've already sent it across the country and the world to our family members and every single person has said exactly what we thought too: they are so fitting to our family! The warmth, the love, the candid shots... and I can see your eye as a mom in the small little details of his feet in his hands etc. I love that it's not just a smiling at the camera, that's what draw me to your work in the first place. It just feels like us. You can just tell how much we love, August, like we're just looking at him in every picture which is what we do anyways, it's literally perfect. I already have some favorite selected but every time I flip through I find more! We were both speechless when we first saw the gallery and I was crying, of course.

Alison's work has a sensitivity and rawness, impossible to find anywhere else! When I saw her pictures I immediately knew she's the only photographer I'd want to work with for my pregnancy, my heart was sold. We reached out to Alison for a session with our 5-month-old daughter (I wanted to remember our breastfeeding journey with beautiful images). Alison was very friendly and knew how to put us at ease and she did not have her eye on her watch. The poses/outfits were numerous . The gallery delivered was very extensive. I particularly appreciated the detail photos (eg the baby's little hands gripping his feet). I also liked receiving a few "preview" images right after the session
