For months, you carry them with you everywhere. You learn their rhythms, feel their little movements, wonder about the person they’ll become. Your body changes to make room for theirs, and for this brief chapter of your lives, you are one.
Pregnancy can be beautiful and powerful, but growing a WHOLE human, it can also be uncomfortable, exhausting, vulnerable, and complicated. You don’t have to love every part of it to recognize how extraordinary it is.
Maternity sessions are a way of honoring the body that carried them and preserving the time when you were their first home.
Studio sessions are especially great if you’re drawn to a clean, minimalist look where the focus stays fully on your family and your connection without any distractions. The studio is in my home and located in Leesville. SC.
There’s something intimate about documenting this season in the place where you’re preparing to welcome your baby. The nursery taking shape, the familiar rooms that are about to hold someone new, the quiet rituals of nesting and waiting. An in-home maternity session preserves not only the way you looked while carrying them, but a little piece of the world that was waiting for them, too.
Nature compliments pregnancy so beautifully. The organic shapes, movement, textures, and changing light create a space where the body can be highlighted in a soft, powerful & feminine way and allows for lots of diversity in your gallery.
Some memories deserve more than a still frame. Set to music and woven together with intention, it’s a cinematic keepsake that will instantly immerse you back in time.
I know maternity photos can sometimes feel like one more thing to plan during a season when there is already so much on your mind and your energy is limited.
I'm here to guide you and make it as easy and seamless as possible.
From your inquiry to your gallery delivery, you’ll be completely guided and supported so you never have to stress or wonder what comes next. With my client wardrobe fully accessible to you and personalized styling options, I’ll help take the pressure off getting everyone dressed, too.
Once we’re together, there is nothing you need to know about posing or how to move. I’ll gently guide you in a way that feels natural and flattering, while leaving plenty of room for real connection and emotion to unfold.
If your children are joining us, there is nothing they need to do or be for me either. My sessions are child-led, so we’ll follow their natural rhythm rather than expecting them to sit still or perform for the camera.
You can expect to receive your full gallery in 3 to 4 weeks. At the end of our session (or when I send you previews) I will give you a more precise estimate based on my work load at the time of the session. I always edit in order. If you wish to know how many sessions are ahead of yours while you wait don’t hesitate to message me!
For your session to be booked, a $150 down payment is required for all session except mini studio portrait sessions which are due in full upon booking. The rest is due on the day of the session. If you need a bit more time to make the final payment that’s ok, but you wont receive your gallery until the full payment is made, even if the gallery is ready. We can also set up a payment plan leading to your session if that works best for you.
All of my sessions include the access to the FULL gallery without any extra cost or hidden fees. It would be very frustrating for me to limit you in the numbers of images you get, and I personally don’t want to keep charging you for you to get the full experience of our session together. And who wants more email back and forth or dealing with more money transfer? I know I don’t!
Life happens, I get it! Maybe you had a horrible night with baby, maybe someone’s sick. My goal is not to make your life harder and for you to not enjoy our session together. If you need to reschedule, just let me know as soon as possible and we will make that happen!
In case of light rain, we can choose to embrace that, but if you’re not up for it or the rain is too heavy, we can totally reschedule. Bottom line: don’t stress.
If that’s ok with you, YES absolutely! I adore my work and love sharing it with others. This also helps me be discovered by other wonderful families!
But if you are not comfortable with certain images being shared (like more intimate photos or kids faces) please let me know. Instagram is not my priority, you are! My work is about being of service to you and your family so just let me know what your personal boundaries are and I will be sure to respect them!
I understand how stressful it can feel not knowing whether a session will go “smoothly.” I know that’s easier said than done, but please do not worry about this! I am a mother myself and nothing will phase me! Sessions are designed to be relaxed and playful rather than rigidly posed. There’s no expectation for perfection or for your kids to behave "well" (whatever that means).
Someday, the little person you’re carrying will get to see these photographs too. They’ll see the body that made room for them, the hands that held them before they were even born, and just how loved they were before you ever knew them.
