So often, mothers are the keepers of the memories; the ones noticing, documenting, and holding onto all the little things. And so often, that means you’re the one behind the camera instead of in the photographs.
But one day, your children will look back for you.
They’ll want to see the way you held them, the way they fit against your body, the way you looked at them. They’ll want to see the woman who made their childhood.
Studio sessions are especially great if you’re drawn to a clean, minimalist look where the focus stays fully on your family and your connection without any distractions. The studio is in my home and located in Leesville. SC.
Being photographed in your own home carries a special kind of magic. This is where late-night feedings, first steps, and endless memories are made. It’s not just a house; it’s your home. The familiarity of your surroundings creates a sense of comfort and authenticity.
This type of session is perfect for those who love spending time outside, and want to make their session a fun adventure. It’s an opportunity to step away from walls and routines, feel the fresh air on your face and use the natural light and landscapes as a dynamic backdrop for your photos.
Created for mothers and babies between 3 and 12 months, this intimate one-hour studio experience is a chance to honor this version of motherhood you’ll never have again with them. Come love on them, play, snuggle and simply be together. This is also a great opportunity to capture your breastfeeding journey if this is part of your story!
Some memories deserve more than a still frame. Set to music and woven together with intention, it’s a cinematic keepsake that will instantly immerse you back in time.
Motherhood sessions aren’t about perfectly behaved children, forced smiles, or trying to recreate someone else’s idea of a beautiful family. They’re about making space for you to simply be with your children and allowing me to preserve what unfolds.
My approach is child-led and connection-focused. I’ll offer gentle guidance when you need it, but there is no pressure for your little ones to perform for the camera. We follow their rhythm and let the session grow from there.
You don’t need to know what to wear or worry about how everything will come together, either. I'm here to guide and support you with everything. You’ll have access to my carefully curated client wardrobe, along with personalized styling options so that you can feel beautiful and comfortable while still feeling like yourself.
Whether we spend an evening wandering outside, document the familiar rhythms of life at home, or slow everything down for an intimate studio session, the heart of the experience stays the same: connection over perfection.
Because to me a session IS part of the memory not just a means to creating photographs.
You can expect to receive your full gallery in 3 to 4 weeks. At the end of our session (or when I send you previews) I will give you a more precise estimate based on my work load at the time of the session. I always edit in order. If you wish to know how many sessions are ahead of yours while you wait don’t hesitate to message me!
For your session to be booked, a $150 down payment is required for all session except mini studio portrait sessions which are due in full upon booking. The rest is due on the day of the session. If you need a bit more time to make the final payment that’s ok, but you wont receive your gallery until the full payment is made, even if the gallery is ready. We can also set up a payment plan leading to your session if that works best for you.
All of my sessions include the access to the FULL gallery without any extra cost or hidden fees. It would be very frustrating for me to limit you in the numbers of images you get, and I personally don’t want to keep charging you for you to get the full experience of our session together. And who wants more email back and forth or dealing with more money transfer? I know I don’t!
Life happens, I get it! Maybe you had a horrible night with baby, maybe someone’s sick. My goal is not to make your life harder and for you to not enjoy our session together. If you need to reschedule, just let me know as soon as possible and we will make that happen!
In case of light rain, we can choose to embrace that, but if you’re not up for it or the rain is too heavy, we can totally reschedule. Bottom line: don’t stress.
If that’s ok with you, YES absolutely! I adore my work and love sharing it with others. This also helps me be discovered by other wonderful families!
But if you are not comfortable with certain images being shared (like more intimate photos or kids faces) please let me know. Instagram is not my priority, you are! My work is about being of service to you and your family so just let me know what your personal boundaries are and I will be sure to respect them!
I understand how stressful it can feel not knowing whether a session will go “smoothly.” I know that’s easier said than done, but please do not worry about this! I am a mother myself and nothing will phase me! Sessions are designed to be relaxed and playful rather than rigidly posed. There’s no expectation for perfection or for your kids to behave "well" (whatever that means).
Motherhood is beautiful and deeply fulfilling, but it can also be exhausting and hard. You give so much of yourself to these little people, day after day. You deserve photographs that not only capture how beautiful you are, but also the love and connection that makes it all worth it.
