Although those early days with my baby didn’t feel like they were going fast at the time, looking back now, I realize just how small that chapter really was and yet, how deeply meaningful and precious.
We wait so long to meet them, and suddenly, here they are. Somehow completely new to us and already so deeply familiar. And then, almost as quickly as they arrive, they begin to change.
The wrinkled little feet soften. Their fingers uncurl. Their cheeks fill out. They stop folding themselves into that impossibly tiny shape against you. Slowly, almost without noticing, you begin saying goodbye to that version of them.
I consider it my sacred job to capture it before it’s gone, so that you can meet that tiny version of them, time and time again, for the rest of your life.
Studio sessions are especially great if you’re drawn to a clean, minimalist look where the focus stays fully on your family and your connection without any distractions. The studio is in my home and located in Leesville. SC.
Being photographed in your own home carries a special kind of magic. This is where late-night feedings and endless memories are made. It’s not just a house; it’s your home. The familiarity of your surroundings also creates a sense of comfort and authenticity.
This type of session is perfect for those who want to make their session a fun adventure and for newborns with siblings that love to run around. It’s an opportunity to step away from walls and routines, feel the fresh air on your face and use the natural light and landscapes as a dynamic backdrop for your photos.
Some memories deserve more than a still frame. Set to music and woven together with intention, it’s a cinematic keepsake that will instantly immerse you back in time.
The newborn stage is such a special one but it definitely comes with its set of challenges. I'm here to make this experience easeful and enjoyable. From your inquiry to your gallery delivery you will be completely guided and supported so you never have to stress or wonder what's next!
I'll handle the logistics so you don’t have to. With the client wardrobe fully accessible to you and personalized styling options, you can let go of the stress around outfits and know you'll feel beautiful and confident in front of the camera.
My sessions are designed to feel natural and unforced. I offer light guidance that encourages your authentic selves to shine. We move at you and your child(ren) pace, with time and room to let things unfold, pause when your little ones need a break and photograph with multiple outfits.
Basically, you can take a deep breath now, I've got you!
You can expect to receive your full gallery in 3 to 4 weeks. At the end of our session (or when I send you previews) I will give you a more precise estimate based on my work load at the time of the session. I always edit in order. If you wish to know how many sessions are ahead of yours while you wait don’t hesitate to message me!
For your session to be booked, a $150 down payment is required for all session except mini studio portrait sessions which are due in full upon booking. The rest is due on the day of the session. If you need a bit more time to make the final payment that’s ok, but you wont receive your gallery until the full payment is made, even if the gallery is ready. We can also set up a payment plan leading to your session if that works best for you.
All of my sessions include the access to the FULL gallery without any extra cost or hidden fees. It would be very frustrating for me to limit you in the numbers of images you get, and I personally don’t want to keep charging you for you to get the full experience of our session together. And who wants more email back and forth or dealing with more money transfer? I know I don’t!
Life happens, I get it! Maybe you had a horrible night with baby, maybe someone’s sick. My goal is not to make your life harder and for you to not enjoy our session together. If you need to reschedule, just let me know as soon as possible and we will make that happen!
In case of light rain, we can choose to embrace that, but if you’re not up for it or the rain is too heavy, we can totally reschedule. Bottom line: don’t stress.
If that’s ok with you, YES absolutely! I adore my work and love sharing it with others. This also helps me be discovered by other wonderful families!
But if you are not comfortable with certain images being shared (like more intimate photos or kids faces) please let me know. Instagram is not my priority, you are! My work is about being of service to you and your family so just let me know what your personal boundaries are and I will be sure to respect them!
I know many photographers rush clients to schedule sessions within the first two weeks of life, but I’m not one of them. I understand how sacred and challenging those first days and weeks of postpartum can be, and I honor that. Sessions can be scheduled up to six weeks after birth. After about three weeks, newborns tend to be more alert and awake, which may lead to a different result than the classic sleepy newborn photos—but still beautiful in their own way. I’m here to talk with you about what feels right and comfortable for you and your family.
Newborn photographs are about holding onto a little piece of that beginning.
Not just what your baby looked like, but how small they felt in your arms. The way they slept against your chest. The way their siblings inspected every tiny finger and toe. The exhaustion, the wonder, the tenderness, and the beautiful adjustment of this new chapter.
